Chained Echoes is a story-driven JRPG where a group of heroes travel around the vast continent of Valandis to bring an end to the war between its three kingdoms. Though humorous at times, the story is much darker than many of its influences, and critics seem to like how Echoes subverts some of the tropes of its genre.
